Something exciting is happening at our BMW dealership on Great Howard Street.
The current BMW dealership is undergoing an extensive refurbishment programme to give our customers the most up to date and interactive experience ever. Once completed customers will be able to see our best ever product range, with a number of new and updated models being launched throughout the year.
The two-storey development doubles the size of the family-owned car showroom at Great Howard Street from 7,180 sq ft (667 sq metres) to 13,692 sq ft (1,272 sq metres).
The scheme represents a major strategic investment as Williams looks to provide customers with an exciting new buying experience.
The 16-week project being undertaken by Bolton-based Seddon which began at the end of January is due for completion in June 2014.
The good news is that the dealership will remain open for business as usual and temporary offices have been installed adjacent to our MINI showroom to cater for the sales of both new and used BMWs. Our aftersales facility, at 100 Pall Mall, will act as the temporary BMWi showroom, where you can see and drive the all electric new BMW i3. Our dedicated specialist, Marvin Mills will be happy to show you this new innovative product.
On completion, Williams Liverpool will offer a unique customer hub featuring interactive displays in which to build and view a new car and to view approved used car stock.
The new showroom will house 18 BMW models – including a unique section for the all-electric BMW i3 and the i8 sports car due to be launched in July 2014 – and there will be space for more than 100 approved used cars on the site.
David McGoldrick, Dealer Principal at Williams Liverpool, said: “This ambitious project represents an important strategic investment to allow us to achieve our growth ambitions across all areas of the business.”
"2014 will be a landmark year for BMW with the launch of new and updated models such as the new X3, 4 Series Convertible, 2 Series and i8."
“These fabulous facilities will allow us to accommodate the widest range of products ever and offer customers an unrivalled shopping experience that makes buying a car easy and enjoyable,” he added.
Craig Greene, Project Manager at Seddon Construction added: “We are delighted to be providing our expertise in high-quality commercial building to Williams on such a prestigious project. The design of the dealership lends itself perfectly to modern day motor retailing and will allow Williams to continue to provide the highest levels of customer service.”
